We have already implemented comprehensive and highly-complex accelerator systems from a single source for well-known research institutions. Our UHV systems, in particular, stand for uncompromising quality and all-round durability.
Breaking new ground, without breaking the beam path

As a partner of pioneering research institutes such as DESY or GSI FAIR, we design and produce accelerator components for their projects.
We work closely with our customers to tailor the components to their specific requirements and produce them from a single source. Our components are used in a wide range of different sectors, such as medical technology, as well as in science and research.

One outstanding example is our cooperation with the European XFEL international research facility, for whom we produced and installed the customer-specific MID experimenting station (Materials Imaging and Dynamics Instrument, see title image). This station facilitates the structure-related examination of crystalline, nano-structured and biological materials. Among other things, it supports the analysis of the viscosity of liquids and gases, the examination of polymer molecules and research into crystal formation processes.
The image on the left shows part of a dipole chamber, which is integrated into a supra-conductive magnet. The chamber guides the beams of ionised particles in a synchotron for particle experiments. The vacuum chamber is equipped with a cooling coil which makes direct cooling possible.
